How long is the EATSANE program?
You belong to EATSANE for as long as you wish, but the initial commitment is for 3 months. After the first 3 months, you can sign up for another 3 months if you chose to do so. EATSANE is available for as long as you feel you need it.

What is the cost of EATSANE?
You will be part of an EATSANE group that has an hour and a half meeting two times a week. The cost of each group is $60; since there are 2 groups per week the total weekly cost is $120. You need to remember that you are making a 3 month commitment and that the other group members are depending upon you to participate just as you are depending upon them to fulfill their commitment.

What is the background of the group facilitators?
All EATSANE group facilitators have extensive experience in working with people who suffer from compulsive overeating. In addition, they are health care professionals (i.e. psychologists, social workers, nurses, nutritionists, etc.) who have been trained in the EATSANE method by Dr. Cohen.

What makes EATSANE unique?
EATSANE combines lifestyle change strategies that have been proven to work with an extensive network of support and ongoing help so that the chances to remain on track are greatly enhanced.

What do you need to have in order to participate in the EATSANE program?
To participate in EATSANE you must have the desire to get off the dieting merry go round and change your eating behavior.

Who are eatsane's clients?
Eatsane ‘s participants are people who have attempted to lose weight and have not been able to keep it off. These include people who went on popular diets, participated in self help groups or have participated in treatment. The common denomination is that although they may have been able to lose weight they are unsuccessful at keeping the weight off.

When do EATSANE's groups take place?
Your EATSANE group will be scheduled in the evening twice a week (i.e. Monday and Thursday from 8 to 9:30 PM ).

How does the telephone model work?
EATSANE participants are given a conference call number and an access code. Each member calls in at the regularly scheduled time as does the group facilitator who is the same professional for the entire 3 month period.
